Welcome to Schaffer Patent Illustration (SPI).

We have specialized in patent and trademark drawings for over 11 years. Our drawings can be seen in thousands of issued patents worldwide. We have prepared formal drawings for corporations such as Intel, Sun Microsystems, Yahoo, Apple Computer, IBM and many more. We work with Intellectual Property Law firms all around the country.

We have clients in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Virginia. We also work
with independent Patent Attorneys, Patent Agents and Inventors.

We pride ourselves on turning those rough sketches into high quality, publishable computer drawings. We always prepare our patent drawings to meet all USPTO requirements.
In addition, we can provide formal drawings for the PCT or any foreign country. Utilizing the Internet, we can process all business electronically. We convert all our drawings into one multipage PDF file. You will be able to view and print our drawings from your computer. We can provide hard and soft copies via FedEx or U.S. Mail if requested.

PRICING

Prcing for patent drawings are per sheet and are as follows:

  • SIMPLE SHEET - $35
  • STANDARD SHEET - $50
  • COMPLEX SHEET - $90 to $125

Pricing inlcudes standard revisions.

Drawings are prepared and converted to pdf for universal viewing and printing.

We are sorry, but we do not prepare drawings in the Visio file format.

SECURITY


You can trust that any and all drawings sent to us via facsimile, mail, electronically or otherwise are considered privileged information. We will agree to sign a confidentiality statement with all of our new clients. It is simply an extension of the Attorney Client Privilege.

This promise we make to our clients does however limit us to what we could show in our portfolio. Our portfolio shows illustrations that we created and are currently accessible to the public in an issued patent.


We will never use any drawings issued, published or unpublished, pending, abandoned or otherwise to provide possible new clients with a sample of our work. The only samples we
provide are the samples seen on this website.
